410 West 126th Street, Harlem, NY

TITAN’s in-house engineering has proven many times over they are capable of solving any building challenge that comes their way. In office, certain jobs are categorized as what TITAN terms “high risk” due to extraordinary building conditions. 410 West 126th Street in Harlem NY was one of these “high risk”. The highlighted condition is the 7th floor, featuring an 8.0’ cantilever of a 30” deep Transfer Slab, running for about 150 continuous lineal feet. Approximately 1,100 cy placement of that floor. Not only did this difficult slab have to be placed, but the added supports were critical in supporting the next five levels (through the 12th) until the slab was cured and strength reached. TITAN’s engineering team welcomed the challenge, utilizing C-Channels. MAX Towers assisted with the Re-shoring of the next 5 levels.
