Sales Engineer Intern

DESCRIPTION: Assist regional salesmen through estimating and take-off support. Assist regional salesmen by drafting a proposal and contract for assigned projects. Perform special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, construction management or related degree

  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM modeling

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks

  • Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, equipment requirements and contract requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)


Sales Engineer Trainee

DESCRIPTION: Participates in and oversees the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for customers. Assist regional salesmen through estimating and take-off support. Assist regional salesmen by drafting a proposal and contract for assigned projects. Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, construction engineering, or related engineering degree

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks with an emphasis on thoroughness, attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors

  • Advanced PC skills, specifically in a Windows environment, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel and creating documents and preparing correspondence in Outlook and Word

DESCRIPTION: A junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil or construction engineering and possesses strong interpersonal skills, technical and problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and enjoys working with a diverse workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist regional salesmen through estimating and take-off support.

  • Assist engineering department through red-line corrections to shop-drawings.

  • Assist Design Engineer in engineering calculations.

  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in and oversees the preparation of accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for Customers.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves concerns regarding structural design with project team.

  • Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance company’s ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operational efficiency.

  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related engineering degree.

  • Experience reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided design utilizing formwork engineering methods.

  • Knowledge of construction formwork systems.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks, with an emphasis on thoroughness, attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.

  • Advanced PC skills, specifically in a Windows environment, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel, and creating documents and preparing correspondence in Outlook and Word.

  • Knowledgeable of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
