Required Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of Arch. & Structural drawings, estimating, pricing and supplier contracts. Regional travel required. Strong regional client relationships.
  • Experience – Active in the forming/shoring business for a minimum 5-years.
  • Education – 4-Year College Degree (B.S. CE or SE preferred).
  • Software – Windows Vista or Windows 7 & Windows Office.

key responsibilities

  • Assists in the design and detailing of forming systems.
  • Reviews and analyzes the project documents and identifies drawing and specification conflict, insufficient information, and missing dimensions while contributing ideas to enhance project productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Prepares quantity takeoffs and estimates as required.
  • Assists in the evaluation and coordination of material requirements with field supervisors to ensure availability and efficient utilization of equipment on assigned projects.
  • Ensures duplication and delivery of up-to-date drawings and instructions to the job site.
  • Records, updates, and maintains FRI, Product Submission, and drawing logs.
  • Ensures efficient inventory control and storage of shop drawings and contract documents.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Required qualifications

  • Experience – 1 year of completed coursework or equivalent combination of training and/or work experience reading structural drawings and performing computer-aided design.
  • Software – Advanced PC skills, specifically in a Windows environment, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel and creating documents and preparing correspondence in Outlook and Word.
