QUALITY Engineer - Tempe, AZ (USA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of all aspects of product quality including: inspection methods, data collection, data analysis, non-conforming material dispositions, and product/ process quality assurance.
  • Participates in root-cause analysis; obtains disposition and implements corrective action, as needed.
  • Conducts follow-up audits to review the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Work with development team and manufacturing to achieve design for manufacturability and reliability.
  • Develop manufacturing test/evaluation methods and product validation methods.
  • Interface with customers, vendors and internal departments to resolve quality problems.
  • Support supplier quality engineering and perform source inspections, and process audits.
  • Reviews, revises, and writes inspection procedures.
  • Collects and uses statistical data for the monitoring and evaluation of trends.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Education – 4-Year College Degree (BS Engineering, or related technical degree).
  • Experience – 2-8 years.
  • Prior experience with the deployment and management of a Quality Management System.
  • Capable of domestic and international travel.
  • Ability to learn quickly and respond to changing priorities.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills as well as being a motivated team player.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Strength in planning, time management, and organization.

  • Technical sales and on-site service of large multi-family residential, commercial, institutional projects in regional markets.

Required Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of Arch. & Structural drawings, estimating, pricing and supplier contracts. Regional travel required. Strong regional client relationships.
  • Experience – Active in the forming/shoring business for a minimum 5-years.
  • Education – 4-Year College Degree (B.S. CE or SE preferred).
  • Software – Windows Vista or Windows 7 & Windows Office.
  • Personal/Habits – Self motivated, service oriented, hard working team player with good communication skills.

Compensation

  • Base Salary plus commission (Market TBD).
